FC-Fire Sacré champion de la coupe Myers 2018 !

July 29, 2018

Following the protocol that rules the 2018 Myers Cup. In the absence of either of the two teams at the scheduled time for the start of the game, the forfeit of one or both teams are recognized by the referee fifteen minutes after the time fixed for the beginning of it.

Since the forfeit of finding conditions mentioned by the referee on the score sheet. To this end, this afternoon July 29, 2018 on the grounds field of City Park Gloucester, the EGEBO team which should normally play against the Cosmos FC for their third game of the season, not being showed up after fifteen minutes, therefore automatically declared forfeited 3 goals to 0 in favor of Cosmos FC team at the same time took the lead with 9 points, two points ahead of the GPS team counting 7 points for three games played.

GPS strikes down FC Fire 4-2 in City Park of Gloucester and positions ideally with the aim of the semifinals of the Myers Cup. Blameless in all areas, the men leads by the coach Jean Emmanuel left nothing in training outclassed FC Fire. Steve, the #9 of GPS shone with a resounding triplet and positioned himself in good position of the best scorers at once.

After facing FC Fire on July 8 at City Park (7-0), EGEBO FC could not do better for their second game at the Myers Cup. The match ended in a zero goal all-around. Both teams had several chances of goals, unfortunately could not transform them. During this game, the EGEBO coach used about fifteen players by making five changes, three of which were made just after the restart of the second half. Which allowed him to play better unlike the previous game. Note that for his next outing, they will play against the Cosmos FC, the band leads by Napoleon Haendel who remains on two straight victories.

“We would like to greet and congratulate the two teams in particular for their enthusiasm to keep the spirit of fair play at the highest level and that the public has  appreciated”.

This Sunday, July 8 has been a successful day for the Myers Cup organized by the Sports Committee of the Ottawa Bolides, both sports and socio cultural activity have met the expectations of the fans. This day has demonstrated a new level of maturity and appreciation of this summer Championship. City Park, welcoming environment, has become the undisputed and indisputable Haitian and other community members… Two (2) games had scheduled on this day,
-The first game played between the EGBO and F.C Fire. The game played under a 31 degree Celsius temperature and was led by some well experienced referee and linesmen, the fair play had been on time on both sides. Which game was won by the F.C. Fire with a score of 7 - 0.
-The second game opposing Cosmos F.C. against the F.C. Lakay, that was of a good standard on the show plan but was poor in fair play left something to be desired in terms of fair play despite the effort deployed by the leaders of the two (2) teams. because young people need to know and remember that fair play is respect and sympathy towards everyone, even towards people who are thought to be wrong or to deserve punishment. Moreover, we play against an opposing team and not an enemy team.

However, after the expulsion of two (2) players for anti-play one on each side, the situation was back to normal and the game was celebrated by the F.C Cosmos who won on the score of 3 to 1. And then came the highly anticipated and highly appreciated moment of the public of all ages, exchanging conviviality with one another and sharing with young people more, memories well kept. That is the kind of activity the Ottawa Bolides would wish to see reign in the region, an atmosphere and an intergenerational environment that get everyone together through standard sports and values ??that based on participation. That represents a positive contribution to the development of the participant as a person.

See you next Sunday for another great day !!!

As expected today, June 17, 2018 was the opening match of the Myers Cup at City Park in Ottawa between FC Fire v/s FC Cosmos. The FC Fire that expected a big win over the Cosmos Instead found themselves frozen out of Myers Cup, 3 points adrift of FC Cosmos who beat them soundly 5-1 at the City Park this evening.

This was a game the FC Cosmos dominated, once ahead, they looked completely in control. But it is worth noting that it was the FC Cosmos who had the better of a bitty first half where both sides seemed more obsessed with stopping the other from creating than producing anything worthwhile themselves.

At the end of the game  the FC Cosmos who didn’t expect a largely score responded to trump’s rant by simply thanking their fans
